Since Uber provides cheaper and more efficient transportation alternatives to smartphone users, taxi drivers are slowly seeing their customers favor the new technology. In order to fight innovation, cabbies are using their political influence to urge governors to sign anti-Uber bills into law. Until that happens, though, Uber users are being harassed.
